Digger Big by Sebastian (Rabbit Class)

Big yellow diggers all around
Churning up the muddy ground

They dig through night and day
They just can't stop for a play

They're so tired, they need a drink
Big diggers, they just can't think

Big Yellow Diggers by Sydney (Eagle Class)

Big Yellow Diggers all around,
Churning up the muddy ground,
Diggers, diggers, everywhere.
Digging up the square.
Making a noise,
Bang, bang, bang
Hurry, hurry, lets have a tea break.

Big Yellow Diggers by Zak (Mole Class)

Big yellow diggers all around
Churning up the muddy ground
Some are small, some are fat
You may even find some that are tall.
As loud as thunder,
bang, bang, bang
Big yellow diggers, all around

Building by Evan (Eagle Class)

Big yellow diggers all around.
Churning up the muddy ground
Putting up steel
Whilst we have our meal
Laying the bricks
Others making the mix
Building our school
Making it cool.

Diggers by Zane (Mole Class)

Big yellow diggers all around.
Churning up the muddy ground dig, dig, dig.
Here comes all the thick mud, all the mud tips out of the shovel.
The ground is messy because of the builders.

Diggers Digging by Matthew (Hedgehog Class)

Big yellow diggers all around,
Churning up the muddy ground,
Cranes are lifting all the day,
While we are all out to play,
Through the window I sometimes look,
Even when I read a book.

Hurry Up Henry! by Mrs O'Connor

Big yellow diggers all around,
Churning up the muddy ground.
What will they do next I don't know,
But I hope they do it before it snows.
Hurry up Henry, no time to waste,
We need to get it finished- please make haste!

Ruby's Building Poem (Mole Class)

Big yellow diggers all around,
Churning up the muddy ground.
Cranes lifting bricks up so high,
I bet they could reach the sky.
My school looks like a different place,
Lots of children, we need the space.
Crashing and bashing when I'm in my class,
So many noises, when will they pass.
The men sit down for a cup of tea,
And that means, at last, some peace for me.
Big yellow diggers all around,
Churning up the muddy ground.
